Prefectul judeţului Satu Mare, dr. Eugeniu Avram le-a oferit doamnelor din Instituţia Prefectului mărţişoare, urându-le acestora o primăvară frumoasă! Prefectul judeţului Satu Mare, dr. Eugeniu Avram l-a felicitat luni, 2 martie 2015, pe lucrătorul Inspectoratului pentru Situaţii de Urgenţă “Someş” Satu Mare, plutonierul major Mihai Ştef pentru fapta sa de curaj. 
Subofiţerul a fost cel care, alături de un alt cetăţean din Satu Mare, a salvat-o din râul Someș pe fata de 16 ani care s-a aruncat săptămâna trecută de pe podul Golescu. 
Plutonierul major este angajat la I.S.U. “Someș” Satu Mare din anul 2006, şi îşi desfăşoară activitatea ca și conducător autospeciale – pompier în cadrul Detaşamentului de Pompieri Satu Mare.
Pompierul a fost recompensat în mod onorific, cu o diplomă de excelenţă oferită de către reprezentantul Guvernului în teritoriu. 
La întâlnirea care s-a desfăşurat luni, 2 martie 2015, ora 10,45 în cabinetul prefectului au participat şi inspectorul şef  al Inspectoratului pentru Situaţii de Urgenţă “Someş” Satu Mare, col. Dan Gheorghe şi purtătorul de cuvânt al instituţiei, lt.col Aurel Ulici.
