Activitatea de combatere a contrabandei cu ţigări şi alte produse supuse accizării continuă. Din datele monitorizate de către Instituţia Prefectului rezultă că factorii cu atribuţii au întreprins în luna februarie 2014 un număr total de 132 acţiuni, în urma cărora au fost constatate 68 de contravenţii în valoare de 30.950 de lei. De menţinat că în luna februarie a acestui an au fost confiscate 5.569 de pachete de ţigări, 6.580 de fire de ţigări abandonate, 6.650 kg de tutun, 216 litri de motorină şi 128,5 litri de pălincă, valoarea totală a prejudiciului creat bugetului de stat a fost estimat la 34.103 lei.
Totodată, lucrători ai Inspectoratului Județean de Poliție Satu Mare au depistat în data de 30.01.2014 un bărbat din Decebal în timp ce deținea și transporta cantitatea de 4.200 de litri de alcool cu concentrație de peste 90 de grade. Acesta este cercetat pentru deținere în afara antrepozitului fiscal a produselor accizabile supuse marcării, fără a fi marcate corespunzător peste limita a 300 litri, faptă prevăzută și pedepsită de art. 296, ind. 1, alin. 1, litera i din Legea nr. 571/2003.
Având în vedere rezultatele obÅ£inute anul trecut pe linia combaterii contrabandei cu Å£igări ÅŸi alte produse supuse accizării, prefectul Eugeniu Avram solicită instituÅ£iilor implicate în această acÅ£iune să manifeste ÅŸi în continuare mai multă vigilenţă ÅŸi eficienţă pentru a descuraja ÅŸi destructura reÅ£elele infracÅ£ionale care mai acÅ£ionează pe raza judeÅ£ului Satu Mare.
