Vineri, 21.04.2017, de la ora 13,30, în cabinetul prefectului judeÅ£ului Satu Mare, Darius Filip a avut loc o întâlnire cu o delegaÅ£ie a reprezentanÅ£ilor organizaÅ£iilor patronale ale transportatorilor din judeÅ£ele Satu Mare ÅŸi MaramureÅŸ. La întâlnirea la care a participat ÅŸi subprefectul Altfatter Tamas au fost prezenÅ£i nouă reprezentanÅ£i ai transportatorilor. 
Scopul declarat al delegaÅ£iei a fost acela de a-ÅŸi exprima nemulÅ£umirea legată de timpii de traversare a frontierei spre Ungaria de către autocamioane, prin Punctul de Trecere a Frontierei  Petea. Perioada de aÅŸteptare este considerată inacceptabilă ÅŸi având repercursiuni grave, atât financiare cât ÅŸi de imagine, atât asupra activităţii economice a companiilor de transport cât ÅŸi a partenerilor  comerciali, prin blocarea ciclurilor de producÅ£ie  urmare a  neaprovizionării cu materii prime ÅŸi materiale.  ÃŽn opinia transportatorilor soluÅ£ia care ar rezolva rapid această problemă ar fi deschiderea a cel puÅ£in încă unui punct de control comun pe sensul de ieÅŸire din Å£ară, având în vedere că în acest moment controlul de frontieră al automarfarelor care ies din România se efectuează în comun cu autorităţile maghiare, pe o singură arteră. 
Prefectul Darius Filip a transmis autorităţilor centrale o informare în scris despre situaÅ£ia prezentată de către delegaÅ£ia transportatorilor, declarând că va depune toate diligenÅ£ele în vederea deblocării situaÅ£iei din Petea.
